Welcome to Lyngen Lodge located on the banks of the Lyngen Fjord over looking the dramatic Lyngen Alps of Northern Norway. Piste To Powder specializes in ski touring courses in Norway from introductory level to experienced off piste skiers and snow boarders.
The season begins mid February with powder skiing and concludes end of May with skiing under the midnight sun.

Lyngen Lodge provides: Full board accommodation, twin sharing rooms with private bathrooms, all transfers from Tromso airport, IFMGA mountain guides, all boat and land transportation to access the skiing.
The Summit To Sea concept provides access to the best skiing throughout the Lyngen Alps via The Spirit of Lyngen boat and land transportation which takes you directly from the lodge to you chosen mountain for the day with your guide.

The Lyngen Fjord is 85km long and flanked on all sides by mountains ideal for skiing. In addition there are 4 islands full of peaks offering sensational skiing in dramatic scenery.
Average summits range from 800m to 1200m above sea level. The highest being Jiehkkevarri 1834m. The views are spectacular from all summits and the highlight is skiing down virgin slopes above the fjord scenery.

Ski touring in the Lyngen Alps begins from the snow covered beaches at sea level. The combination between snow, mountain and sea create stunning contrasts and the summit views are truly unique in this world.
The descents are consistently angled due to the glacial history of the region. Terrain ranges from wide open faces and long glaciers to narrow dramatic valleys and steep couloirs; there is inexhaustible terrain in Lyngen to suit all levels of skiing experience.

The Northern Lights phenomena are seen from October until end of April on clear nights. Particles from the sun burn up into the earth's atmosphere and create stunning light shows that waltz across the night's sky.
Returning to the lodge after a good day's skiing you are encouraged to relax in the outdoor hot-tub and sauna or simply relax by the open fire before and after dinner. Lyngen Lodge endeavours to provide the ultimate combination between adventure and relaxation. |

Midnight Sun Skiing: 24 hours sunshine appears on the 17 May and the best skiing can be found between the hours of 11pm and 5am in the morning. Heading north to the outer islands and northern slopes will provide a once in a life time experience skiing under the sun at midnight in Northern Norway.
