Allocating you into the correct group is very important to your overall of piste experience, so we have 4 levels for you to try and self assess your skill at the booking stage. It's possible to change during your course up or down to suit if necessary. Check the levels below keeping in mind that fitness plays a huge role as off piste skiing is demanding on the legs and tired legs loose technique even if the mind is motivated. So don't go too high to start as this will over challenge your confidence and you'll be heading for an early après ski before you intended...
Important Note: to progress and enjoy off piste it helps to have an adventurous spirit and be prepared to ski assertively.
Level 1 - Intro to off piste, able to control your speed in fall line turns on black runs
Level 2 - Intermediate, you've skied off piste before but need to further improve your off piste technique in the classic terrain
Level 3 - Competent, you can ski all terrain and powder well, including tight trees and looking to explore the hidden terrain further
Level 4 - Advanced with good fitness, free ride, fast turns and couloirs, you can ski everything the mountain throws at us
