Equipment:

Which skis are perfect for the off piste course?

Off piste skis are wider than carving skis, they allow you to float on top and turn easier. We recommend skis no less than 85mm width in the middle of the ski and no less than head height.

Flex of the Ski: A very good and fit skier can ski a stiff ski. The lower levels should go softer. A stiff ski needs much more speed and perfect technique.

Ski boots: To big ski boots are the worst case for your learning process. When you can lift the heel more than 5mm in the skiboot please visit a boot fitter.

Important note: Piste skis will guarantee you a day of pain and no progress.

Is a helmet recommended ?

!!! Yes a helmet is recommended !!!

Are goggles important for the off piste course?

Ski googles are a must have for any off piste skier.

You need them in: flat light, on snowy day's, and when you prefer to go on you personal ski limit.
